The core of enterprise management is "people" and "things",performance management,as one of the most important components of human resource management and even enterprise management activities,has also become the research focus in the field of enterprise management.The goal setting of performance management matches the strategic planning of the enterprise,which also enables the enterprise to find and solve the problems in the process of enterprise management while constantly meeting the everchanging needs of employees.It is the core link of the effective operation of the entire human resource system.Company B is a typical IT information company in China,and with the continuous growth of its scale,common industry problems such as high turnover of R&D personnel,management difficulties,and lower than expected output are all related to its performance management.Inadequate performance management is the reason resulting in the company expectations are difficult to achieve,and the performance process is becoming more and more formalistic,for B company,which makes the search for optimization countermeasures of performance management system become the primary management problem at present,otherwise it will seriously hinder the continued development of the company.This article from B company government department of R&D personnel performance management as the research object,using literature analysis,questionnaire and interview methods to research and analyze the current performance management system and performance status of it.In this study,it is found that the main problems of B Company focus on poor matching between performance objectives and corporate strategy,lack of performance communication and appeal mechanism,insufficient operability and enforceability of the current appraisal mechanism,and single application of performance appraisal results.Some strategies are proposed according to the above problems: the optimization countermeasures include matching performance objectives with management planning,improving communication methods and optimizing coaching processes,distinguishing assessment standards between managers and ordinary R&D positions,and adjusting the application of performance results in salary,promotion,training and other fields,strive to help B Company to carry out a comprehensive performance system optimization and promotion.
