With the sustainable development of economy and fierce competition of the enterprises,business development will mainly rely on effective management system and the unique competitiveness cultivated by it.Performance appraisal,performing a core role in the enterprise management,is an effective method to achieve enterprise strategic target.Its importance is attracting more and more attention from administrators.For the rapid developing enterprises,to choose a suitable way for performance appraisal is becoming especially important.As a chemical enterprise,YLT is becoming stronger because of itsresource advantages,market development ability and technical advantages.However,due to the historical influence,YTL' s management mode is relatively traditional and out-dated;its internalhuman resource management work is faced with a host of problems and great pressure;problems still exist in the performance appraisal toward the middle-class managers,which lead to poor performance of the mangers.The thesis goes about an analysis based on YLT.First of all,it introduces the research background,the way of thinking and significance,and then studied the related theories about performance evaluation system design.It also explores the practical operating situation,organization structure and function,the present situation of human resource and so on,based on the practical situation of YLT.In addition,it analyzes the problems and causes existing in the former performance appraisal system toward the middle-class mangers and provides the optimal design of the system.This paper studies the YLT company taking advantage of on-the-spot interview and questionnaire survey,and detailed explores and investigates its operating situation and performance appraisal system.By adopting the advanced theory and method combined with the practical situation of YLT,the author recommends specific suggestions aiming at dealing with the problems existing in the performance appraisal system toward the middle-class mangers,and furtherly prompts the achievement of the company's strategic target.Meanwhile,the paper provides reference for the domestic chemical industry and other enterprises when designing performance appraisal system.
