As a necessity of daily life,the quality of vegetables directly affects people’s physical health.Vegetable circulation connects the production and consumption of vegetables,and efficient vegetable circulation not only provides consumers with fresh vegetables,but also promotes the development of the vegetable industry.In 2022,the vegetable production in Hefei is 2.5065 million tons,with a permanent population of 9.634 million.It has a solid foundation for the development of the vegetable industry and a broad consumer market.The vegetable industry has developed rapidly,but there are problems with unreasonable distribution of benefits and large fluctuations in vegetable prices in actual transactions.Based on this,this article takes the vegetable circulation mode as the research object,conducts research and analysis on the production efficiency of the vegetable industry in various districts and counties and the circulation efficiency of different circulation modes,and provides reference suggestions.Based on the panel data of the input-output of the vegetable industry in various districts and counties of Hefei from 2016 to 2021 and the cross-sectional data of different circulation modes of Hefei in 2022 obtained from the research,this thesis studies the production efficiency of the vegetable industry in Hefei and the circulation efficiency of different modes.After analyzing the DEA Malmquist index,it was found that the development of the vegetable industry in the urban area has slowed down,while the vegetable industry in the four counties and one city area has developed rapidly.Compared with the four counties and one city region,the advantages of the urban vegetable industry are weakening and gradually shifting to the four counties and one city region.However,during the transfer process,some districts and counties have problems with low production and circulation efficiency of the vegetable industry.Therefore,the development of the vegetable industry can give appropriate priority to the four counties and one city region.The average annual growth rate of total factor productivity in the urban area is 0.4%,and in the four counties and one city area,it is 5%.Except for Luyang District,which has decreased by 3.3% and Baohe District,which has decreased by 0.9%,all other districts and counties have exceeded 1.This indicates that during the research period,except for Luyang District and Baohe District,the vegetable industry in other districts and counties has been continuously developing,with Lujiang County developing the fastest,with an average annual growth rate of total factor productivity of 6.1%.Through BCC-DEA model analysis on the main data of different circulation modes in Hefei,it is found that among the four main circulation modes,the circulation efficiency of the agricultural trade market mode and the wholesale market mode is relatively high,and the self production and self marketing mode and the combination mode of agriculture and supermarket have greater development space.The comprehensive technical efficiency value of the self-produced and self sold model is around 0.5,and it is in the stage of increasing returns to scale.The comprehensive technical efficiency can be improved by updating production equipment,expanding production investment,and encouraging brand building;The mode of combining agriculture with supermarket mainly has the problem of low pure technical efficiency.The comprehensive technical efficiency can be improved by organizing skills training for employees,improving the self owned rate of vegetables,and developing online markets;The main problems of the agricultural market model and the wholesale market model are incomplete cold chain equipment and redundant logistics investment.Comprehensive technical efficiency can be improved by strengthening the construction of cold chain systems and deep product processing.
