| Eliminating poverty is a long-standing dream and expectation of the Chinese people,and it is also the only way to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.After the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party and the government have made a series of major arrangements to win the battle against poverty and implement the rural revitalization strategy.They have issued a series of policy measures,helping 100 million people lift out of absolute poverty in total,providing the world with a Chinese approach and model for poverty reduction and poverty alleviation.The construction of public infrastructure is of great significance for national or regional economic growth,reducing regional poverty levels,and constructing a regional poverty reduction blocking mechanism.Transportation infrastructure can increase the mobility of regional production factors and reduce production costs.Communication infrastructure can help promote agricultural technology and employment.Health infrastructure can improve the living environment and improve the quality of life of residents.The differences in poverty reduction mechanisms among different public infrastructures are worth exploring.This article selects 22 provincial panel data from 2014 to 2019 as research samples,explores the differences in the availability of different rural public infrastructure in poverty reduction effectiveness through GMM models,and proposes feasible countermeasures and suggestions based on empirical results.The empirical results show that on the overall level,transportation,communication,and living infrastructure have significant poverty reduction effects on the incidence of poverty among rural residents;From a subregional perspective,there are significant differences in the poverty reduction effects of infrastructure in different regions.In relatively poor regions,transportation infrastructure has better poverty reduction effects than other public infrastructure;The results of time-phased testing indicate that transportation and communication infrastructure have better poverty reduction effects in rural poor areas in the short term,while living infrastructure has more significant long-term poverty reduction effects.Finally,this article believes that scientific planning and overall planning should be carried out to optimize the layout of public infrastructure in rural areas,further increase the scale of rural public infrastructure construction,and promote high-quality development of rural society. |
