A Study On The Organizational Construction Of The Connection Between Small Farmers And Large Markets

"Smallholder farmers" is the basic situation of agriculture in our country.At present,agriculture is in the transition process from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,and family agriculture is still in a core position.How to effectively connect smallholder farmers and large markets is an important part of the development of modern agriculture.In order to solve the problem of connecting small farmers with big markets,various kinds of rural market intermediary organizations emerged,including rural brokers,large sales,cooperatives,associations and so on.These intermediary organizations are active in rural society and connect dispersed farmers by virtue of their advantages in information resources,scale and capital,so as to build a bridge of communication between small farmers and large markets.Among them,cooperatives,as intermediary organizations,not only serve the society,but also promote the development of agricultural industries,effectively absorb the employment of surplus rural labor,increase farmers’ income,and improve the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in rural governance.Shoushan Professional cooperative,led by major growers,actively encourages farmers to participate in land transfer and join the cooperative work.From the unified purchase and supply of agricultural materials,to planting technical guidance,to the purchase and sale of agricultural products,the cooperative controls the whole process of agricultural production.It not only speeds up the marketization process of village agriculture and leads farmers to increase their income,but also changes the original social relations in the countryside imperceptible and promotes the steady development of rural social order.However,many problems still emerge in the process of cooperative development.First of all,the construction of the cooperative system needs to be improved,reflecting the strong color of the rule of man;Second,cooperatives play a weak role in promoting the connection between small farmers and the big market,and the professional quality of management and personnel is poor.Finally,the organization degree of cooperatives is low,and the management process reflects the characteristics of blindness.In view of the problems exposed in the course of development of cooperatives,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to promote sustainable development.The first is to optimize the interest linkage mechanism and stimulate the internal motivation of the organization from the three aspects of decision-making,supervision and incentive mechanism.The second is to improve the service capacity within the organization and emphasize common interests.Third,relying on characteristic agriculture to promote organizational construction.The fourth is to strengthen the construction of personnel team and strengthen the internal vitality of the organization.
