The breakthrough development of emerging technologies such as cloud computing,big data,block chain,and artificial intelligence has brought a disruptive impact on traditional industries and has spawned new formats and business models.Business model innovation can maximize the value of information technology,and is an important path for enterprises to achieve value creation and gain competitive advantage.However,new business models driven by technology continue to benefit mankind while threatening human privacy,security,and ethics.This requires companies to pay more attention to legality in the process of using technology to innovate business models.Especially in a social system constructed by systems,norms,values,etc.,if an enterprise’s business model innovation is not recognized by consumers,investors,employees and other stakeholders for legitimacy,it will not be sustainable.Existing studies have recognized the important impact of organizational legitimacy on business model innovation and proposed relevant strategies for obtaining legitimacy,providing a theoretical basis for studying the relationship between the two.However,the research on the internal mechanism of organizational legitimacy that affects business model innovation is still in the exploration and initial stage,which not only restricts the expansion of organizational legitimacy theory,but also affects business operators’ perception of organizational legitimacy to promote business model innovation.Based on the above analysis,this research is based on the management practice of Chinese enterprises,exploring the mechanism of organizational legitimacy on business model innovation,and providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for enterprises to promote business model innovation.Based on a strategic perspective,legitimacy improves the possibility of an enterprise’s access to resources,and enables an enterprise to have a foundation for further obtaining various key resources needed for development.At present,big data has become the most important capital and strategic resource of enterprises.The ability of enterprises to acquire,store,analyze,and apply big data enables organizations to better understand environmental changes and perceive new business opportunities.For this reason,big data capabilities provide new development opportunities for enterprise business model innovation.Realize the driving force of business model innovation.As the direct beneficiaries of enterprise products or services,user experience determines the evaluation of products or services and defines the differences between products or services,and the application of big data plays a key role in improving user experience.To this end,under the premise of organizational legitimacy,this research tentatively demonstrates the influence and effect of big data capabilities,user experience,and the joint connection between the two on business model innovation,and provides effective solutions for the rapid promotion of business model innovation.In view of the above analysis,this study introduces big data capabilities and user experience as intermediary variables into the research on the relationship between organizational legitimacy and business model innovation,and constructs a theoretical model.By analyzing the relationship between organizational legitimacy,big data capabilities,user experience,and business model innovation,systematically explain the internal mechanism of organizational legitimacy affecting business model innovation.Specifically,the research ideas are as follows: First,explain the background and significance of the topic selection of this research,and use relevant literature to support the topic selection of this research;then,combine the literature review and research review to build organizational legitimacy and big data capabilities,The relationship model between user experience and business model innovation,and put forward research hypotheses in turn;secondly,refer to and use mature scales developed by domestic and foreign scholars to design this research questionnaire,issue and collect research questionnaires,and finally use SPSS17.0Analytical software such as,AMOS24.0 conducted an empirical analysis on 375 valid survey questionnaires.The research conclusions show that: organizational legitimacy,big data capabilities,and user experience all promote business model innovation;organizational legitimacy and big data capabilities have a significant positive correlation,which also has a positive impact on user experience;big data capabilities and users Experience shows a significant positive correlation.Big data capabilities and user experience respectively play a complete intermediary role between organizational legitimacy and business model innovation,while big data capabilities and user experience continue to play an intermediary role in the relationship between organizational legitimacy and business model innovation.This research reveals the relationship between organizational legitimacy and business model innovation and its mechanism of action,and provides some useful references and suggestions for promoting business model innovation.
