Green Efficiency Measurement And Promotion Path Of Logistics Industry

As a national basic and service industry,the proportion of the logistics industry in the gross regional product(GDP)has been increasing.The development speed and quality of the logistics industry has become an important indicator to evaluate the economic strength.While promoting the development of regional economy,the logistics industry is also facing serious ecological environment problems,which brings serious challenges to the green development of the logistics industry.Especially in the era of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutral",the green development of the logistics industry has become an inevitable trend.In order to actively respond to the call of the report of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China: "promote green development,promote the harmonious coexistence of human and nature,accelerate the green transformation of industrial development mode,and develop low-carbon industries," at the same time,make positive contributions to further promote the green development of China’s logistics industry,actively and steadily promote carbon peak,carbon neutrality,and participate in the global governance of climate change.This study first uses the SBM-DEA model of unexpected output to measure the green efficiency of logistics industry in 30 provinces;Secondly,the paper analyzes the influencing factors of green efficiency of logistics industry by using the literature research method;Thirdly,from the perspective of configuration,qualitative comparative analysis(QCA)is used to explore the condition configuration for improving the green efficiency of logistics industry;Finally,it analyzes the substitution and interaction of each condition configuration,designs the path that can improve the green efficiency of the logistics industry,and discusses each path in detail with typical cases to provide sufficient theoretical support and practical guidance for the green development of the logistics industry in China’s provinces.The research results show that:(1)In terms of the evaluation of the green efficiency of the logistics industry,the value of the green efficiency of the logistics industry in 2011-2020 basically shows an upward trend in the fluctuation,and there is a spatial distribution and evolution pattern of "high in the east and low in the west" in the country,and the green efficiency of the logistics industry in various provinces across the country is significantly differentiated;(2)In terms of the factors affecting the green efficiency of the logistics industry,the level of economic development,the level of digitalization,the strength of government support,the ability of scientific and technological innovation,the efficiency of transportation infrastructure and energy utilization are the main factors affecting the green efficiency of the logistics industry;(3)This study found that there are also potential substitution relations and interaction relations in the configuration of improving the green efficiency of logistics industry.The interaction forces between condition variables are different under each configuration,and the importance and priority of conditions are different;(4)In terms of the ways to improve the green efficiency of logistics industry,this study has obtained three ways to improve the green efficiency of logistics industry,namely: "economic drive and government empowerment" type,"economic drive and energy utilization" type and "government empowerment and technological innovation" type.Finally,from the aspects of improving the level of economic development,improving the transportation infrastructure,improving the level of digitalization,strengthening the ability of scientific and technological innovation and policy support,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the green efficiency of the logistics industry.This study is not only conducive to clarifying the green efficiency of the logistics industry in 30 provinces(cities,districts)in China and their differences,but also provides theoretical basis for improving the green efficiency of the logistics industry and promoting green development in each province;It is also conducive to formulating targeted policy recommendations according to the differences in the green efficiency of the logistics industry in different regions,effectively promoting the reasonable,orderly and efficient green development of the logistics industry,and promoting the overall development level of China’s logistics industry,which is of great significance to smooth the national economic cycle and build a new development pattern.
