The signing of bilateral or multilateral FTAs,as well as active involvement in regional collaboration, has enabled a decrease in tariff and non-tariff barriers between countries, thus diminishing the "inefficiency" that had previously been a major hindrance to trade growth. This has caused trade facilitation to become a matter of global interest. The manufacturing sector has always been a major contributor to China’s economic growth.RCEP member countries are important regions for China’s manufacturing exports, which have huge hidden potential to be explored.Exploring the influence of trade facilitation on China’s manufacturing trade exports, this paper will take the RCEP member countries as its research object, thus furnishing a reliable reference for furthering trade development. An examination of the effect of trade facilitation on China’s manufacturing exports, based on transaction cost theory and information asymmetry theory,is conducted using RCEP member countries as the research object in this paper. To begin,a review of the literature on the effects of trade facilitation on trade flow is conducted, with particular measures of trade facilitation being examined in relation to China’s export trade;then, the present state of China’s manufacturing products exported to RCEP member countries is examined in terms of export magnitude, product form, and market layout. Finally, the evaluation system established by scholars to measure the level of trade facilitation of a country is drawn upon, and four first-level indicators are selected to construct Finally, using the trade gravity model, based on the panel data from 2010-2019,the impact of trade facilitation on the export of Chinese manufacturing products to RCEP member countries is empirically analyzed, and the regression of first-level indicators and product structure is also conducted. The findings are as follows:The enhancement of trade facilitation in importing nations can foster China’s manufacturing exports;additionally, the infrastructure, customs, regulatory, financial and e-commerce conditions in importing countries have a beneficial influence on China’s manufacturing product exports to RCEP member countries, with the customs environment having the most significant effect on China’s manufacturing export trade. The greatest effect of enhancing trade facilitation in RCEP member countries is seen in the positive effects of manufacturing exports at high, medium, and low technology levels;Among them, trade facilitation has the most significant stimulating effect on high technology manufacturing exports, followed by medium technology manufacturing. To further promote China’s manufacturing exports, four policy recommendations were made from the perspectives of infrastructure development, customs clearance efficiency improvement, regulatory reform and finance and e-commerce.
