Problems And Countermeasures Of Rural Old-age Support Under Rural Revitalization Strategy

The aging of our country is becoming more and more serious;the old-age care has become an important problem that needs to be solved properly.The economic development in rural areas is backward,which leads to the passive status of rural development.At the same time,the problem of the old-age care in rural areas is also becoming more and more prominent,which should be solved properly.The development of rural old-age service is related to the successful implementation of rural revitalization strategy,and the proper solution of rural old-age issues will help to further promote rural revitalization.This paper is based on extensive reading of relevant literature,analysis of existing research findings,and a survey of rural areas in Jiao Zhou City,by using the methods of literature study,investigation and case study,we have obtained the first-hand data about the rural old-age support,through the data statistics and analysis,it concludes that the problems of rural elderly care in Jiao Zhou City are mainly the deep-rooted traditional concept of elderly care in rural areas and the insatiable inner feelings of the elderly,the government has invested less in rural infrastructure for the aged,ignored the construction of rural cultural service mechanism for the aged,and the participation of social forces at all levels is not enough,the service level of all levels of rural nursing homes for the aged is uneven and the skills of nursing staff need to be improved,and the reasons for these problems are analyzed in detail.Through the in-depth study and analysis of the problems existing in rural old-age care,we have obtained the countermeasures and suggestions to promote and improve rural old-age care in the context of rural revitalization strategy,it mainly includes renewing the traditional concept of providing for the aged,propagating the idea of “Filial piety” culture,meeting the emotional needs of the aged,vigorously developing the collective economy and increasing the income of farmers,give full play to the leading role of the government and increase the input of government funds,we will strengthen the development of infrastructure for rural old-age services,build a multi-level rural old-age insurance system,pay attention to the development of rural cultural old-age service mechanisms,and attract more social forces to participate in the development of rural old-age services,to strengthen the training of nursing personnel and team building,to explore a diversified mode of providing for the aged,and gradually build up the support of the collective economy,to“Home-based,community-based,institutions as a supplement to the combination of medical and old-age rural integration of the development pattern.”.In Jiao Zhou City’s vast rural areas,we have selected villages,towns and villages that have experienced rapid economic development to explore and practice,and then we have expanded the scope and gradually expanded it.We have also integrated social resources in various directions to solve the problem of providing for the elderly in rural areas,so that the vast number of elderly people in rural areas can enjoy and spend the rest of their lives in peace.
