The Development Research On Distinctive Industries In Gaozhou Based On The Strategies Of Rural Revitalization

In the second decade of the 21^stcentury,with challenges and opportunities unseen in a century,our agricultural development and rural economy have been in a new era.After finishing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and achieving the first centenary goal,we will mark the first five years of China’s new journey toward fully building a modern socialist country and march toward the second centenary goal,which means that China’s development will enter a new stage.This article firstly analyzes the relevant domestic and foreign documents,defines the concept and connotation of rural revitalization strategy and rural characteristic industries,and expounds the related theories used in this article.Gaozhou is a typical major agricultural city in Guangdong.This paper takes Gaozhou as the main research object by sorting out and analyzingthe advantages,disadvantages,opportunities,and challenges of the development of characteristic rural industries in this place through SWOT Analysis.It also puts forward systematic and feasible countermeasures.After collecting and analyzing relevant data by means of SOWT Analysis,Literature Research,and Survey Research,this paper believes that based on the rural revitalization strategy,the advantages of the development of rural characteristic industries in Gaozhou are:superior geographical conditions,rich agricultural resources,the strong economic development momentum and the bright market prospects.The disadvantages of it are:low proportion of leading enterprises causing little driving effect,low level of industrial clustering and technology,lack of high labor agricultural quality,and the impact of market price fluctuations.There are also some opportunities in it:national rural revitalization’s stimulations,the policy support from the central to local governments,growing talent training,the great promotion of characteristic industry brands and continuous industrial integration.But the challenges are:the apparent agriculture structural contradictions,the backward agricultural socialization services,frequent natural disasters,the deficient market system development,insufficient efforts to optimize the business environment,and the inadequate characteristic agricultural technology supply.Therefore,the countermeasures for the development are as follows:encouraging new rural production entities,increasing policy support,developing national e-commerce comprehensive demonstration projects in rural areas,launching the training and education of farmers,optimizing the business environment effectively and striving to develop a digital village.
