The Development Of Agricultural Insurance In Hunan Province Has Increased The Income Of Farmers Impact Studies

Agriculture has always been an important part of China’s national economic development,agricultural insurance has gradually become a major tool to promote the growth of farmers’ income,especially in 2012 with the promulgation of the "Agricultural Insurance Regulations",since then every year the Central No.1 document will put forward guidance and suggestions for the development of agricultural insurance.However,most scholars’ research literature on the relationship between agricultural insurance development and farmers’ income focuses on the national level,and rarely studies on the provincial level.Based on this,this paper selects Hunan Province,a large agricultural province,as the research object,and uses the literature research method and empirical analysis method to conduct an in-depth exploration of the development of agricultural insurance in Hunan and its impact on the growth of farmers’ income.This paper first introduces the research background and research significance of the article and sorts out the classic theories of agricultural insurance and farmers’ income;secondly,analyzes the current situation and theoretical analysis of the development of agricultural insurance and farmers’ income in Hunan Province;and finally uses the data from2005 to 2020 in Hunan Province for empirical analysis and puts forward corresponding policy suggestions based on the empirical results.The research conclusions of this paper are as follows: under the long-term and short-term influence,the development scale,development potential,fiscal support level and per capita land area of agricultural insurance in Hunan Province have played a positive role in promoting the growth of farmers’ income in Hunan Province,while the scale of agricultural insurance compensation in Hunan Province has played a negative role in influencing the growth of farmers’ income in Hunan Province;at the same time,the empirical results show that although the direction of influence of the two is consistent,the amplitude of the impact is inconsistent,and the positive driving effect brought by the long-term impact is even greater.Therefore,this paper puts forward suggestions on the basis of theory and empirical evidence:based on the current situation of agricultural insurance development in Hunan Province,suggestions are made from the perspectives of expanding the scale of agricultural insurance development and enhancing the internal driving force of farmers’ operations to ensure the positive role of agricultural insurance in the impact of farmers’ income growth.
