| In recent years,the development of China’s retail industry has fallen into a dilemma.On the one hand,the development of e-commerce is becoming more mature,which is specifically reflected in the slowdown of the growth of e-commerce retail sales and the shrinking of dividends.On the other hand,the traditional offline retail mode has drawbacks in integrating resources and meeting the needs of consumers.After COVID-19,there is a "closed shop tide" of physical shops.Therefore,retail enterprises began to find a way out and actively seek transformation.With the active integration of network economy and real economy,new retail,an emerging model that deeply integrates the three dimensions of online service,offline experience and logistics distribution,was born.As an important part of the retail industry,although the leisure food industry benefits from the increase of residents’ income and the upgrading of consumption structure,and continues to expand the industrial scale,it is facing the serious problem of product homogenization.Therefore,enterprises still need to actively innovate and seek more lasting and stable development through transformation.This paper takes the Bestore,a representative enterprise of the new retail transformation of the leisure food industry,as the research object,analyzes its transformation path and performance changes,and puts forward optimization suggestions according to its existing problems.Firstly,this paper summarizes the relevant concepts,relevant literature and theoretical basis of new retail,and summarizes the Enlightenment of the existing research results to this paper.Secondly,this paper analyzes the motivation and specific path of the new retail transformation of Bestore.Thirdly,in order to comprehensively evaluate the changes of the performance of Bestore,this paper evaluates its financial performance by analyzing the changes of financial indicators,cash flow and economic added value,and evaluates its non-financial performance by brand recognition analysis,market share analysis and stock market response.Through the above research,this paper finds that although the positive impact of the new retail transformation on the performance in 2021 is not obvious,the impact of the transformation on the performance of good quality stores is positive on the whole.Finally,after summing up the successful experience of the transformation of good stores,in view of the problems existing in the transformation process,such as weak growth of R&D investment,weak ability to control operating costs and incomplete elimination of hidden dangers in food safety,this paper makes related suggestions for improvement: firstly,improve the capability of cost control;secondly,pay due attention to R&D investment and building talent team;thirdly,strengthen quality control and strictly test the quality.As a leading enterprise in the leisure food industry,Bestore has representative experience and problems in the process of new retail transformation.Therefore,the research results of this paper not only help Bestore to further improve its performance level,achieve sustainable development and increase the core competitiveness of enterprises in the new retail transformation,but also have reference significance for the new retail transformation of similar enterprises in the industry. |
