At the Party’s 20 th National Congress,it was proposed to develop the Marine economy,protect the Marine ecological environment and speed up the building of China into a maritime power.Under the strategy of Marine power,China’s Marine economic development has received extensive attention from all walks of life,and the total Marine economy has reached a new level.However,the current extensive Marine resources development mode,unreasonable Marine industrial structure,and seriously polluted Marine ecological environment make the Marine economic growth slow down gradually.In order to solve the problems existing in the development of Marine economy,the most important thing is to realize the high-quality development of Marine economy.The key to the high-quality development of Marine economy is to improve the ability of scientific and technological innovation in Marine fields.As the main forces of Marine scientific and technological innovation,the level of research and innovation of Marine enterprises fundamentally determines the overall strength of Marine science and technology and the quality of Marine economic development.Therefore,to achieve high-quality development of Marine economy,the key is to enhance the scientific and technological innovation ability of sea-related enterprises.Therefore,it is of great significance to systematically explore the impact of technological innovation on Green total factor productivity(GTFP)of sea-related enterprises.Firstly,through background introduction and relevant theoretical analysis,this paper systematically analyzes the influence mechanism of technological innovation on GTFP of sea-related enterprises.On this basis,based on the panel data of 341 Chinese listed companies involved in the sea,the non-expected super efficiency EBM-GML model is used to estimate the GTFP of the companies involved in the sea,and the correlation analysis of the measured results is carried out in three dimensions: time trend,space trend and decomposition power.Then,the two-way fixed effect model is constructed to empirically test the influence of technological innovation on GTFP of sea-related enterprises,and the regression results are analyzed.In addition,path analysis,robustness test and heterogeneity analysis were carried out to verify the accuracy of the empirical results.Finally,taking ownership concentration degree of sea-related enterprises as threshold variable,the nonlinear influence of technological innovation on sea-related enterprises’ GTFP is studied.Based on the above empirical research results,this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions for improving GTFP of sea-related enterprises.The main conclusions of this study are as follows: First,the overall trend of GTFP in Chinese ocean-related enterprises is increasing during 2011-2021,and the average GTFP of ocean-related enterprises in coastal provinces and cities is significantly different;Secondly,technological innovation has a significant promoting effect on GTFP of sea-related enterprises,and the promoting effect is mainly through promoting technological progress.Thirdly,the influence of technological innovation on GTFP of sea-related enterprises is not always monotonically increasing,but there is a complex double threshold effect.When ownership concentration has not crossed the first threshold value,the influence of technological innovation on GTFP is negative,but not obvious.With the increase of ownership concentration,its lifting effect is significantly enhanced.However,when the ownership concentration exceeds the second threshold value,the technological innovation of sea-related enterprises inhibits the improvement of GTFP in turn,indicating that the influence of technological innovation on sea-related enterprises’ GTFP has an optimal ownership concentration range.According to the conclusion of this paper,in order to promote the GTFP of ocean-related enterprises,Chinese ocean-related enterprises should increase the capital investment of scientific and technological innovation and the reserve of scientific research personnel,adhere to the global perspective,pay attention to the market demand,and optimize the equity structure.
