With the surge in the number of global internet users and the strong demand in the internet market,internet companies are growing rapidly.In this context,such enterprises are facing a more complex and intense competitive environment.As one of the representatives of internet enterprises,58 Tongcheng,in the process of the company’s comprehensive transformation and upgrading to intelligent commerce,due to market changes,industry competition,and other reasons,the performance evaluation issues of the company’s sales personnel have gradually become prominent.There have been problems such as a single set of personnel evaluation indicators and unscientific division of power,resulting in the sales personnel performance evaluation system not having a corresponding incentive effect and affecting the enthusiasm of sales personnel’s work,It has had a negative impact on the company’s development.Therefore,the research purpose of this article is to explore the fundamental reasons behind the performance evaluation problems of sales personnel,and to provide optimization solutions for such problems in the company.This paper takes the performance assessment of JN branch company of 58.com as the research object.On the basis of consulting a large number of relevant literature,supported by contingency theory and two-factor theory,and combining KPI assessment method and principal basis binary method,it collects relevant performance data of JN branch company of 58.com.The status quo of the company’s performance appraisal was summarized by combining questionnaire and interview,and the results of data statistics and interview conclusions were analyzed,and the problems existing in the performance appraisal of the company’s sales staff were found: There are deviation of performance appraisal cognition,single performance appraisal index setting,lack of feedback and communication,and lack of incentive effect of performance appraisal results.Then,factor analysis is used to find out the causes of related problems: backward performance appraisal concept,imperfect appraisal system setting,no attention to appraisal communication process,improper use of appraisal results.Finally,based on the framework of "main performance" and "basic performance" in the main-base binary method,this paper proposes an optimization scheme for JN branch of 58.com’s sales staff performance appraisal,establishes and improves the sales staff performance appraisal system,and proposes corresponding safeguard measures to promote the smooth implementation of the optimization scheme.Through the research of this paper,the boundaries of the performance appraisal system for sales personnel in the field of Internet sales are broadened,and examples are provided for the research of the performance appraisal system for sales personnel in Internet companies,which enriches the ideas of the performance appraisal system for sales personnel in Internet companies and provides references for other similar companies.
