Research On Refinery Product Structure Adjustment Of A Petrochemical Company

The adjustment and optimization of product structure is a very important strategic behavior of enterprises.With the whole process of production and operation,the adjustment of product structure is the cornerstone of high-quality development of enterprises.The high-quality development of the oil refining industry is of great significance to the improvement of China’s industrial economic level,the guarantee of people’s livelihood materials and the stability of social areas.However,countries all over the world regard the development of "low-carbon economy" as an important means to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.As a large consumer of "high-carbon economy",the oil refining industry is facing a serious impact on its production mode and market development.The decrease of fuel oil market demand and the rise of petrochemical enterprises have prompted China’s oil refining industry to face the threat of overcapacity,resulting in the decline of profits and operating difficulties in the fuel oil market.The possibility of petrochemical enterprises relying on fuel oil economies of scale to get rid of the decline of profits is decreasing year by year.The fundamental way to get out of the dilemma is to adjust the product structure of enterprises.Therefore,the oil refining industry needs to get rid of the extensive growth mode of fuel oil,speed up the pace of oil refining structure adjustment and realize industrial upgrading.In order to sort out the problems existing in the product structure of the current oil refining industry and help China’s oil refining industry realize the structural upgrading,this thesis takes a petrochemical company as the research object and studies the problems existing in its oil refining product structure.Based on the product structure theory and SWOT analysis model,this thesis analyzes the problems existing in the product structure of a petrochemical company,such as overcapacity of fuel oil and weak production capacity of high value-added products,optimizes the current product scheme through nonlinear programming,and formulates "increasing high value-added products" and "improving the production process of low sulfur heavy marine fuel oil" in combination with the enterprise’s own situation "Building an integrated industrial model" and other long-term planning schemes of product structure,and put forward corresponding safeguard measures to ensure the enforceability of the scheme.In the process of analyzing the product structure of a petrochemical company,this thesis comprehensively considers the internal and external environment of the enterprise and formulates a feasible product structure adjustment scheme in combination with the actual situation of a petrochemical company,which provides a reference model and experience for a petrochemical company and similar petrochemical enterprises to carry out product structure adjustment strategy.
