The auto insurance business has dominated the development trend of the property insurance market and the development fate of insurance companies with the absolute advantage of "one insurance dominating" for a long time in the past.All kinds of auto insurance chaos have been bred by the fierce market competition,which has greatly disturbed the market order of the auto insurance industry.In view of this,after experiencing the water testing stage and reform brewing stage of auto insurance reform,China’s banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission officially implemented the comprehensive auto insurance reform with the greatest strength,the strictest supervision and the widest coverage since the development of auto insurance in China on September 19,2020.However,the expansion of insurance coverage and the reduction of additional rates have significantly reduced the premium income of insurance companies’ auto insurance business,while the adjustment of auto insurance quota has exacerbated the compensation cost of insurance companies’ auto insurance business.Under the background of the continuous downturn of the auto market,it has greatly intensified the industry competition of auto insurance business,the life of small and medium-sized insurance companies is hanging on the line,and the polarization within the industry has intensified again.In view of the above background,this thesis selects the vehicle insurance business of DJ property insurance company,a medium-sized insurance company,as a specific case,and takes the vehicle insurance business of 36 provincial branches of DJ property insurance company as the decision-making unit on the basis of comprehensively combing the literature and case status by using the literature research method and case analysis method,Taking the relevant input-output indicators of the auto insurance business in six consecutive years from 2016 to 2021 as the panel data,the DEA Malmquist model is used to evaluate the auto insurance business operation efficiency of DJ property insurance company.Through the observation of the evaluation results of the auto insurance business operation efficiency of DJ property insurance company before and after the comprehensive reform of auto insurance in2020,this thesis discusses whether the auto insurance business operation efficiency of DJ property insurance company is affected by the comprehensive reform of auto insurance The extent of the impact and the lack of specific problems.At the same time,according to the evaluation results of DJ property insurance company’s automobile insurance business operation efficiency,combined with the development status of China’s automobile insurance industry under the background of comprehensive reform of automobile insurance and the actual operation of DJ property insurance company’s automobile insurance business,this thesis puts forward specific countermeasures,suggestions and implementation plans to improve the operation efficiency.This thesis aims to verify the impact of comprehensive auto insurance reform on the operation efficiency of DJ property insurance company’s auto insurance business through the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,and at the same time,deeply explore the problems and solve them pertinently,so as to effectively promote the good survival and sustainable development of DJ property insurance company,At the same time,it also provides a reference for the survival and development of small and medium-sized insurance companies and the good promotion of the auto insurance industry market under the background of China’s comprehensive reform of auto insurance.
