Sichuan province is one of the important production areas of high-quality tea in our country.The tea garden area,tea output and production value rank in the front ranks in the country.As one of the main producing areas of "Sichuan tea",with 4% of the province’s tea planting area,Emishan produces 15.6% of the comprehensive output value of the province’s tea industry.It has developed into the leader of Sichuan’s tea industry and has strong competitive advantages in tea trade at home and abroad.It has become one of the important demonstration areas in the province and even in Southwest China to lead the agricultural development with high-quality characteristic tea industry.As an important support of "Sichuan Tea industry of 100billion",the tea industry in Emei City is in the forefront in quality tea production,integration of three industries,green development,science and technology demonstration,driving farmers and other aspects.Further accelerating the industrial competitiveness of Mount Emei is conducive to the integration and mining of tea industry foundation and brand advantages in Emei City.By focusing on the main functions such as technology support,industrial integration,innovation incubation,integration driving and core radiation,the city’s tea industry structure adjustment,transformation and upgrading will be accelerated to promote the formation of a modern tea industry system.Relying on the two major strategies of "One Belt,One Road" and the Yangtze River Economic Belt,Give full play to the radiating and demonstrative role of Emei’s tea industry,and create a model area for the development of tea industry in the whole province or even the whole country.This paper takes the tea industry competitiveness of Emei City as the research object,puts forward the relevant concepts and theories of the tea industry competitiveness,summarizes the research status of the domestic tea industry,combines the actual situation of the development of the tea industry in Emei city,and uses Michael.Porter’s diamond model theory analyzes the competitiveness of the tea industry in Emei City,and thinks that the promotion of the competitiveness of the tea industry in Emei city needs to be improved from the demand conditions of the industry,the production factors of the industry,the strategic structure of industrial enterprises and the support of related industries.The entropy weight method and obstacle degree model were used to evaluate and analyze the competitiveness of the tea industry in Emei City,mainly from the three perspectives of tea garden area index,tea production index and tea industry index.It was concluded that the scale and quality of the tea industry had the greatest impact on the competitiveness of the tea industry,among which the scale of tea production played a key role.The output of famous tea and the rank of tea houses are also important factors affecting the competitiveness.Based on the research on the competitiveness of the tea industry in Emei City,this paper believes that to improve the competitiveness of the tea industry in Emei City,it is necessary to carry out planting technology innovation in tea variety cultivation and product research and development,build industrial brand competitiveness,improve the quality of the tea industry,increase capital investment,optimize industrial policies,expand organic products,industrial scale and market,and cultivate leading enterprises.To optimize and improve the development of tea industry cluster.
