With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,the business environment is highly dynamic,and innovation is becoming more and more complicated.Every enterprise is constantly under the pressure of innovation in order to obtain the competitive commercial market.For any enterprise,it is difficult to achieve innovation only by its own knowledge and resources.The idea of integrating external knowledge sources into the innovation process,instead of relying solely on internal sources,has been repeatedly put forward.Therefore,in order to overcome the problems of cost risk,lack of knowledge and improve innovation performance,more and more enterprises began to turn to open innovation strategy,break through enterprise boundaries,seek external partners to establish external collaborative relationships,and make better use of external knowledge and resources.Accordingly,establishing external cooperation has become an effective way to help enterprises acquire useful knowledge and technology,reduce costs and risks,and improve innovation performance.Given this,the following questions are considered in this thesis:(1)What kind of cooperation should enterprises choose?(2)How does the knowledge integration ability affect the innovation performance of enterprises? And what kind of mediating mechanism exists in this process?(3)Facing different types of enterprise knowledge,what kind of moderating effect does knowledge coupling have on the relationship between different collaborative types and innovation performance?Based on the knowledge-based view,this thesis identifies the influence of competitive cooperation and non-competitive cooperation on innovation performance of high-tech enterprises,and opens the research “black box” between different collaborative types and innovation performance under the mediating mechanism of knowledge integration ability.Different types of cooperation provide diverse and heterogeneous knowledge for enterprises,which provides a precondition for the role of knowledge integration ability.And reasonable knowledge management and excellent knowledge integration ability are very important to improve the innovation performance of enterprises.Knowledge integration ability is a mechanism that transforms the input of knowledge into the output of ability to develop the potential of the company,which is helpful to improve the innovation performance of enterprises.In this thesis,knowledge coupling is used as a moderating variable to examine its moderating effect on the relationship among competitive cooperation,non-competitive cooperation and innovation performance.This thesis tries to prove the moderating influence of different knowledge coupling on different collaborative types of enterprises,and it will affect the innovation performance of enterprises.The research subject of this thesis is high-tech enterprises,SPSS 25 and AMOS 25 are utilized to make an empirical analysis of 209 survey data.The results show that:(1)Collaborative types(competitive cooperation and non-competitive cooperation)have the positive influence on innovation performance.(2)Knowledge integration ability plays a mediating role in the relationship among competitive cooperation,non-competitive cooperation and innovation performance.(3)Complementary knowledge coupling positively moderates the relationship among competitive cooperation,non-competitive cooperation and innovation performance.Substitutive knowledge coupling plays a positive role in moderating the relationship between non-competitive cooperation and innovation performance,but not in moderating the relationship between competitive cooperation and innovation performance.Through analyzing the functional mechanism among collaborative types,knowledge integration ability,knowledge coupling and innovation performance,we hope to clearly describe the relationship among different collaborative types and innovation performance.The introduction of knowledge integration ability,a mediating variable,is helpful to further open the "black box" of the influence path among competitive cooperation,non-competitive cooperation and innovation performance,which causes scholars to pay attention to the internal mechanism between collaborative types and innovation performance from the microscopic perspective of knowledge.Taking knowledge coupling as a moderating variable,enriching the boundary mechanism among collaborative types,knowledge integration ability and innovation performance,will help to analyze the process of the interaction between substitutive knowledge coupling and complementary knowledge coupling on enterprise cooperation and performance more comprehensively.This study aims to stimulate enterprises to actively cross organizational boundaries for different kinds of cooperation,gain more effective knowledge and market information,share the R&D risks of enterprises together,and establish a lasting and beneficial collaborative relationship.It is hoped that enterprises can make full use of internal and external knowledge,new and old knowledge,improve their own knowledge integration ability,strengthen knowledge management to quickly and effectively solve problems such as knowledge heterogeneity.And correctly identify the knowledge acquired through external cooperation,carry out certain knowledge coupling,so as to have a different understanding of existing knowledge,expand new core fields and enhance innovation ability.The research provides guidance and suggestions for high-tech enterprises on how to choose collaborative types,how to improve enterprise performance through different external collaborative types,and how to make enterprises realize sustainable development.
