| The opening of the prelude to the US-China trade war in 2018,with the subsequent increase of trade tariffs,has cast a shadow on US-China trade.The impact of the COVID-19 in 2020 on the supply chain has not yet seen any sign of passing away.Traditional trading companies with offline sales channels as the core should not only face the competitive pressure brought by the booming cross-border e-commerce,but also face the impact on the supply chain and consumer market caused by tariffs and sudden epidemics.The competition of enterprises has become the competition of supply chain.Procurement management is one of the core process of supply chain management and is also considered as one of the important means for enterprises to obtain profits.The importance of continuous optimization is self-evident.Y company is a world-renowned IT distribution enterprise with a mature distribution channel system.Y Company uses its own distribution advantages to establish its own brand team.With the business development of Y company’s private label and the expansion of its product line,the scale of suppliers also increases correspondingly.The supplier’s management model also needs to be adjusted and continuously optimized to promote business development.This dissertation provides the optimization on the supplier management from five aspects: supplier classification,supplier evaluation,supplier selection,effective supplier performance evaluation and management and supplier integration.At the same time,tariffs and epidemics have a certain impact on the demand of the supply chain.The rise of tariff and the lengthening of shipping lead time put forward new challenge on the purchasing management ability of Y company’s private label.In this thesis,regarding to the aspect of purchasing demand,Kraljic matrix is used to classify demand to identify different purchasing strategies based on demand classification.And ABC-XYZ classification method is also adopted to classify Y company’s private label’s products to formulate proper inventory strategies.All of optimization aims to improve the efficiency of procurement management,reduce costs,so as to enhance the development of Y company’s private label and increase its competitiveness. |
