According to investigating great deal of papers published lasted studying achievements about optimal analysis and emulation of natural gas pipe network, this paper presents topological optimization, structure parameter optimization, delivering optimization and emulation of gas pipeline system.By virtue of the difference of exploitation process in gas field, a model on optimal topology of gas network is established to make the investment expenses minimum. There is discrete variable and successive variable in the model, so a multilevel optimization method has been adopted to solve it.Based on the topology, a model on structural parameter optimization of gas network is also established to make the net investment expenses minimum. The connection of flowrate, pipe diameter, pressure, pipe length, compression ratio and compressor number has been considered. It adopts a discrete complex variable optimization method to solve this model.In the ideas of system project, synthetically considering the connection of gas produce department, operation department and consumer and analyzing the affecting factors of gas production, transmission and distribution, we establish mathematical model of optimal operation to make the benefit of operation department maximum, and solve it by feasible direction method and linear approximation method.In accordance with the character of gas pipe network, a model on steady emulation of isothermal pipeline which is suited to all network structures is established and solved by node-pressure method. Moreover, a model on general pipe network is established and solved by relaxation method.In accordance with the character of gas pipe network, a model on dynamic emulation of isothermal pipeline which is suited to all network structures is established and solved by functional analysis and operator series method. Also, amodel on dynamic emulation of general pipe network is established and solved by difference method of central implicit.Optimization and emulation software of natural gas pipe network system was developed based on the study. There are wide adaptability, easy operation and high accuracy in the software. It has successful practice in natural gas pipe network building of west Sichuan. In other gas field, it also can be used in optimal analysis and emulation of natural gas pipe network.
