China is increasing the geological exploration efforts to improve resource security,organizing and implementing of a new round of prospecting plan to increase the number of important mineral resources reserves,how to properly estimate the reserves of the mineral resource is great significance to the whole process of mining exploration and development.The previous reserves estimation is a pure numerical,and an approximate "black box"approach,it is difficult to carry out a visual image and controlled evaluation.This requires visible,controllable,easy-to-understand graphical methods to estimate the reserves of personnel.This study combined the three-dimensional computer visualization technology and reserves estimates based on geostatistics,developed an advanced and practical service in the field of mineral exploration,visualization reserves estimation system.This article described an overview of the development of geostatistical theory and the basic principles of the common methods,and clarified the reasons which superior to traditional statistical methods.I n the three-dimensional visualization of the reserves estimates the reserve calculation module of the system,we proposed a visualization reserve estimate process based on the traditionalof geology and mineral reserve calculation process,then completed the overall design of the three-dimensional visualization of reserves estimtion system,including system development environment,the overall structure and functional design,system function module the integration and implementation were analyzed and summarized.Proposed a methed through two-dimensional uniform grid partition and the Flood-fill thinking to solve the three-dimensional model by a complex ore body block model conversion problem,the rapid establishment of the block model;Implemented weighted linear regression variogramfitting methods;anisotropy fit method proposed Quaternion rotation method;Took GPU CUDA technology to computing devices used in kriging reserves estimates in the calculation of the speed optimization.Implemented Kriging neighborhood search sample 3D optimization algorithm.Applied the three-dimensional visualization of reserve estimation system to the Tibet Jiama copper metal deposits,by the establishment of three-dimensional modeland reserves estimation.specifically to learn proven system than accurate three-dimensional model of the ore body,and a more accurate estimated the copper reserves.The results are similar to the exploration reports,which verified the reliability of the software.With VC++development tools,developmented a independent copy rights system of visualizing reserves estimates based on geostatistics,the system integrates data management,3D modeling,reserves estimation,reserves management as a whole,including inverse distance squared method,ordinary kriging,lognormal kriging geostatistical estimating ore reserves and reserves data space query,display,output.So,geological workers can be more intuitive and comprehensive grasp of the grade distributionfor the mining,production management,decision support,showing the broad prospects of the reserve estimation techniques of visualization in the mining sector.
