Core drilling is an indispensable part of the solid mineral resources prospecting process. In the process of drilling, geological drilling machine is the major equipment. In China, full-hydraulic driven geological drilling machine is becoming the main stream. However, the researches on the working efficiency and heat balance of hydraulic system are rare. The thesis is based on the research of the 2000m full-hydraulic geological drilling machine which is a sub-program of the National 863 Project, and supplemented by on-field experiments and data. The analysis and calculation of the working efficiency, temperature variance and heat balance are done under the two worst conditions. The thesis is composed of the following sections:1. The pressure loss, working efficiency and heat balance of the hydraulic system in the process of full power drilling are calculated. A heat radiation function applies to the continuous heat generating hydraulic system is proposed.2. An analysis of the negative work of the drilling machine, i.e. the energy transform in the process of sending drill pipes. This section analyzed the heat balance equation of the hydraulic system and proposed a heat radiation function of the hydraulic system with pulse energy input.3. Based on the calculated results, the section tested the working efficiency of the hydraulic system of current drilling machines and proposed optimization suggestions for future designs.Innovation points:1. The thesis is based on foundational data, analyzed and calculated the working efficiency and heat balance of the hydraulic system of the 2000m core drilling machine for the first time.2. Different from the simple expression "heat dissipation capacity of hydraulic system equals to heat radiation power multiplies time" in the mechanical design manual, the thesis make a conclusion of the heat radiation function of the hydraulic system with consideration of continuous heat generating and pulse energy input. 3. The heat balance equations of the hydraulic system used in the sample calculation are generalized and an analyzing method of the heat balance of other hydraulic systems is proposed.
