Research Of Urban Basic Geographic Information System Based On Full Relation Database

Urban Basic Geographic Information System is a large software system serving for the construction of "Urban Spatial Data Infrastructure" . It offers all kinds of up-to-date spatial data sources for the whole urban, and it offers uniform and standard spatial data infrastructure for the layout building management and service of urban.This paper starts with the concept model and the samdwich building model of "Digital urban" .discusses the relation between Urban Basic Geographic Information System and Urban Spatial Data Infrastructure, and presents definitely that Urban Basic Geographic Information System is a basic system engineering of the construction of "Digital urban" , Its core task is the establishing maintenance management and data distribution of Urban Basic Geographic Information database . According to the actuality and trait of the produce management and distribution of current urban large scale spatial vector data, the servicing object and damands of spatial basic data, and the development trend of GIS technology, this paper brings forward to the solution of full relation , module Urban Basic Geographic Information System based on GeoMedia, emphases on the research of large scale spatial vector data about its classification delamination and coding technique, brings forward to combinating code design scheme based on entity characteristic,and studies the second developing mode and technology of GeoMedia.Based on the research, this paper carries through detailed damand analyse and design, realizes a prototype system of Urban Basic Geographic Information System with GeoMedia as the second developing platform. Finally, some technology questions of the system development are discussed, such as the connection between GeoMedia and database, the design and realization of GeoMedia's three developing mode, the realization of symbol warehouse, the realization of subsystem administrating road and placename database and so on.
