Research Of Communication Technique Of Mobile GIS Application

The process of social information-based accelerating facilitated not only government and enterprise but also society and individual to demand for constant enlargement of the spatial information. The combination of wireless network technology and spatiial information technique has promoted formulation and development of Mobile GIS technique. Therefore, with the development of information field at full speed in our times, network technique and mobile communication has become two pillar industries advancing by leaps and bounds, which nearly absorbed and adopted the all new technique in such respects as the latest information, communication, computer, electron, etc. Following the range of the network covering being larger and larger, the transfer rate being faster and faster, and the user terminal's volume being smaller and smaller, from LAN to WAN, from wired network to wireless network, from wired attaching to wireless attaching, people have more and more higher expectations for communication technique. So mobile communication technique is welcoming unprecedented opportunity and the same time must face the unprecedented challenge too.Main purpose of this thesis is to research how communicate technique apply into Mobile GIS, and making the combination of the two turn from theory into realize, and probing into one actual circumstances, which can be used in the application scheme of people.This thesis mainly studies the technique related to computer science domain, such as the embedded system development (software development mainly), mobile computing, serial interface communication, GPS positioning, wireless network, encapsulation and parse of spatial data, HTTP protocol, instant message, etc.At first, the thesis analyses the technique of Mobile GIS, GPS positioning, GPRS wireless network communication, the encapsulation and parse of XML, HTTP protocol and WINSOCK network programme interface, all of which provide technique foundation for mobile communication development. Consequently, standed up these technique synthetically, and provided the instance of developing — "mutual system of spatial information", which implemented spatial information mutual based the task demand between the server and the each mobile user, and implemented spatial information instant mutual without the influence of any time and special limitation.
