With the development of global positioning techniques especially GPS and embedded systems, the need to integrate them becomes more and more urgent. At present, seamless connection of multiple wireless networks, multi-module positioning of embedded mobile terminals and transmission of multi-frequency data have become three major tideways. Wireless network is an important and effective means to achieve the sharing of geographical information. Processing and transmission of embedded data on wireless network is a tache between spatial positioning technique and communication of wireless network. Embedded mobile computation in geographical space consists of positioning mobile terminals, navigation, data compression, wireless transmission and remote monitoring of mobile terminals. In remote monitoring systems for vehicles based on GPS, transmission of positioning data must be real-time or quasi-real-time and with high efficiency. Based on several wireless transmission techniques, this thesis presents a solution which is perfect and compatible with wireless network completely. This paper analyzes the construction of "GPS+WWAN", "GPS+WLAN/WMAN", enumerates several schemes for "GPS+wireless network", and gives advantages and disadvantages of each scheme of Embedded mobile computation in geographical space. Finally, an integrated scheme for constructing "GPS+ software defined radio network" is presented. The scheme of "GPS+software defined radio network" makes wireless transmission of multi-frequency data and multi-module positioning become possible. It is an integrated expression of Embedded mobile computation in geographical space. It makes sharing of mobile geographical information, positioning of mobile objects, navigation etc. more excellent and economical. This thesis thoroughly studies the key techniques of embedded data processing and transmission based on multi-network for mobile spatial locating:(1) Compression of mobile spatial locating data: Considering geographical features of dynamic positioning data in the process of data compression, high compression ration can be achieved. Software which is used to deal with positioning data is installed in embedded systems. And so the balance of burden is achieved, the flux through WAN is alleviated.(2) Positioning assisted by integration of multi-modules technique and wireless transmission technique: Based on the method of global positioning assisted by mobile phones, this thesis presents a positioning technique based on blue teeth and WLAN, which makes up the disadvantages of positioning merely by GPS.(3) Smart access of wireless mobile spatial data for positioning: Each terminal works in the mode of multi-frequency and multi-module mode, so it is easy to achieve "complete compatibleness with wireless network" and "privilege for preponderant networks' access". By flexible configuration of software modules and hardware modules, multiple wireless networks' access and sharing of geographical information can be achieved with ease.
