In this paper , the author researches the HeShan-landslide form the investigation of emergency geological disaster , which was provided by AnHui geological investigation institution. At the base of holding engineering geological condition , it analyzes the landslide mechanism , then analyzes and appraises the stability of landslide by using the limiting equilibrium method and Fast Lagrangian Analysis For Continuum.The author make use of the numerical simulation- Fast Lagrangian Analysis For Continuum to analyze the landslide with particularity. This method only needs a computer to simulate directly and process data with little cost. Also, it has absolute superiority to the others at the aspect of total observation. FLAC differs from the limiting equilibrium method .The two methods gain the similar results , and there is no need to assume the shape or the location of the slip surface for the FLAC. By FLAC , the most dangerous slip "surface" is not a simple surface but a slip zone, which not only is more similar to the fact, but also accords with the theory of shear strength.By the compare of the two kinds of results from the limiting equilibrium method and the simulation with strength reduction method, we can confirm that it's feasible and practical to use the strength reduction method of FLAC .At the end ,according to the characters of landslide, the author gives advise on comprehensive improvement to insure the stability of landslide.
