In the coal mining industry of our country, so far, the mining loading is mainly conducted by the manual mean and shearer, the application of loader is still in the infancy stage. So it is very important to develop the mining anti-explosion loader for improving the efficiency and the level of automatization of mining loading. As the vital mechanism of spading, transporting and unloading minerals, the rationality of the work equipment of the mining anti-explosion loader will affect directly the performance of whole machine. In this present work, the technology of virtual prototype is introduced to instruct the work equipment design by the simulation of kinematics and dynamics. In terms of the kinematic scheme analysis of work equipment of the mining anti-explosion loader, its kinetic model is established, and its basic design parameters and whole ones are determined in this research work. Subsequently, the 3D modeling and virtual assembly of the work equipment are accomplished in the Pro/E software, and by the 3D visualization interferential checking and the kinetic locus and wrapping analysis, the validity of the established kinetic model is verified. At the same time, the finite element analysis is performed for the work equipment. In addition, by means of the classical dynamic simulation software ADAMS, the multi-rigid bodies virtual prototype machine is built for the work equipment of the mining anti-explosion loader. Via the kinematic and dynamic simulation based on the multi-rigid bodies dynamics theory, the kinetic and dynamic characteristic curves of the work equipment are obtained. Based on these investigations, the virtual prototype machine coupling rigid bodies with flexible ones is established eventually. By comparing the obtained the kinetic and dynamic characteristic curves and the corresponding simulation results from the latter with those of the former, it is shown that the virtual prototype machine with flexible bodies is more accordant with the physical prototype machine than the former. The research work provides with a valid designing and developing means for the work equipment of the new-style anti-explosion loader. The obtained conclusions not only are important to instruct the trial-produce and performance evaluation of the physical prototype of work equipment, but also are valuable for the kinetic and dynamic simulation and the establishment of the virtual prototype of other complicated mechanical devices.
