In order to satisfy the need of the real-time detecting welding quality based on the signal resource of the current and voltage of the CO2 gas shield droplet short-circuiting transfer, the author designed a set of visual instrument, which can analysis and proceed the signal of the current and voltage of the CO2 gas shield droplet short-circuiting transfer. The system was tested by experiment. It can perform all function of process and analysis about the CO2 gas shield droplet short-circuiting transfer. The system composed of hardware detecting circuit and visual instrument software. The hardware composed of PC and A/D convector (DAQ), Hall sensors of welding voltage and current and so on. The Visual instrument software is programmed by LabVIEW, which is a graphical programming language issued by NATIONAL INSTRUMENTTM . With the system , we can implement statistical analysis ,time-domain and frequency-domain analysis,wavelet analysis and waveform analysis and so on. According to the analysis we can get the result of the welding quality from the current and voltage of the CO2 gas shield droplet short-circuiting transfer. The interface of the system is lifelike and it is very easy to operate it. At the same time it can save and print the curve that we are interested in . According to the above, the visual instrument designed by the author is successful in acquiring and analysis and process the signal of the current and voltage of the CO2 gas shield droplet short-circuiting transfer. It can serve to the quality detect online of the current and voltage of the CO2 gas shield droplet short-circuiting transfer.
