| Electric Resistance Welding tube, sometimes the welded joint can engender the bled,dregs, unwelded together,flaw etc.defect in actual welding processing. These defect can cause the welding tube quality depression and risk increases.So, there has the vital practical significance to detect effectively the welded joint defect.This paper will aim at the welded joint of the ERW tube, to design a set of ultrasonic testing system. This system overcame the shortcomings of low automaticity, low precision and affection of man-made factor etc. and synthesized the Ultrasonic technology, Electronic technology, Wavelet analysis theory, Computer technology and Virtual Instrument technology, to constructs a set of high performance ultrasonic instrument system,to realize the automation.This system mainly has been composed by the system hardware and the systems control analysis software. System hardware mainly by ultrasonic wave probe head and ultrasonic wave launch, accepting circuit as well as high speed data gathering electric circuit constitution, it mainly completes the supersonic signal the launch and echo signal gathering processing. System software mainly take computer as working platform,used NI programming language LabVIEW and Matlab language to design system functions of signal data acquisition, spectral analysis, power spectrum analysis, wavelet analysis and flaw recognition etc. and constructed the Intelligent Ultrasonic Detection System analysis system of ERW welded joint.From the results of the experiment, the system's structure is simple, the performance is stable, the interface is amity, and the operation is convenient. The system has not only risen to precision and reliability of the detect, but also improved automatic degree and efficiency.
