Connecting rod is an important part of engine,its molding process includes foundry,die forging,powder forging, powder metallurgy,powder extrusion forging and so on.Its production has some advantages in both domestic production situation and technique economics through die forging process,especially diesel engine's.Most connecting rods have the similar shape and their output is very great.In addition,forging die directly affects their molding qualities.So study on parametric design and NC machining programming of connecting rod's forging die has an important realistic significance.Pro/ENGINEER software is only an aided tool during the study. Parametric design system of connecting rod's forging die is developed through using Pro/toolkit in order to improve design efficiency.The thesis firstly establishes function model of system and does hierachical analysis with IDEFO method ,then the system general structure is founded. Forging parametric design application of system can complete forging design according to 3D model of connecting rod part.The forging die model is established through assembly method.That is to say,the subassembly is composed of finishing forging,flash cave,blocking forging and die block. Impression is made by their cutting out each other. Forging die parametric design application can open one part of subassembly and read all the dimension information of the part.The part model can be regenerated rapidly by changing its parameters.Because Pro/ENGINEER system has a character of complete relativity, forging die model is regenerated through changing any part of the subassembly.The core of forging die's machining technology is impression's machining process.After analyzing machining process of complex surface,NC programming of the impression'rough machining and finish machining are finished through interactive method,based on 3D model ,with...
