Conform technology was invented by the English Springfields lab in 1971. Because of the technology; it is main used to produce aluminium production at first. In the late 1990's,the technology of copper continuous extrusion has a breakthrough. The Continuous Extrusion Engineering Research Center (CEERC) of Dalian Railway Institute has being track in this advanced technique continuously, and in domestic took the lead in 2004 successfully to develop the TLJ400 Continuous Exteusion Machine.As the development of the continuous extrusion machine's technique, so this require us to pursue more and higher automatization. Especially in data Acquisition, These impory datas include temperature and stress in cavity, and the axis's rotate speed. We collected and memorized data with monitoring software, the monitoring software which was KingView software. The KingView software's defect is very obvious, it's speed is slow, and the efficiency of execution is low.Virtual Instrument, a new-style test instrument, is the technical combination of computer technology and measurement, which points out the development direction of the third-generational automatic test system. The application of VI technique can satisfy the need of sharing the hardware with the software resources, set up all kinds of automatic test systems quickly. By making use of the strong function of computer, it can carry out signal analysis, data processing, saving, displaying graphical mode and so on.This paper designs a new many parameters data acquisition system based on Labview , it is used for continuous extrusion machine. It can fulfilled many testing tasks on one computer. By using virtual instruments technology, data acquisition, signal analysis, signal processing, data management and can be easily achieved. At the same time, digital acquisition and signal processing have a perfect performance in enhancing the stability and reducing noise signals of acquisition system.The performance characters and application in the field of modern detection of virtual instrument are deeply analyzed. Developing testing system's hardware structure. The main software design module is given, such as data acquisition, data manage, data analysis, and accessing database.The paper analyses the construction of measurement system based on virtual instrument, also give the real design. It will give enterprise great signification for build measure system based on virtual instrument in the factory.
