Dope dust and aluminium dust could burn and explode easily on some conditions.Because of ampliative application and incremental dosage of these dust,to investigate the venting characteristics and the factors that affect the venting characteristics is quite meaningful.The venting characteristics of dust explosion of aluminium dust and dope dust are studied experimentally by using a 1.3 liter Hartmann duct in this paper.The length of the venting duct is immovable.The materials of experiment are dope dust and aluminium dust.The results of aluminium dust are compared to the results of dope dust.The main work and conclusions are as follows:(1)The variational characteristics of pressure about aluminium explosion venting are studied experimentally in the explosion vessel and the venting duct,and the main content include:The influence of original pressure in gas storage,venting dimension and diameter of venting duct on the maximum explosion pressure,maximum rate of pressure rise and burning time in the explosion vessel;The influence of original pressure in gas storage,venting dimension and diameter of venting duct on the maximum explosion pressure in the venting duct;There are two expressions about the maximum explosion pressure and maximum rate of pressure rise respectively.They are applicable in the range of experiment;(2)The variational characteristics of pressure about dope explosion venting are studied experimentally in the explosion vessel and the venting duct,and the main content include:The influence of concentration,original pressure in gas storage,venting dimension and diameter of venting duct on the maximum explosion pressure,maximum rate of pressure rise and burning time in the explosion vessel;The influence of concentration,original pressure in gas storage, venting dimension and diameter of venting duct on the maximum explosion pressure in the venting duct;There are two expressions about the maximum explosion pressure and maximum rate of pressure rise respectively.They are applicable in the range of experiment;(3)The results of aluminium dust are compared to the results of dope dust.Conclusions are as follows:The influence of concentration,original pressure in gas storage,venting dimension and diameter of venting duct on the maximum explosion pressure,maximum rate of pressure rise and burning time of dope dust is similar to aluminium dust,but the maximum explosion pressure and maximum rate of pressure rise of dope dust is larger,the burning time of dope dust is shorter;There is a concentration that makes the maximum explosion pressure and maximum rate of pressure rise reach a maximum and makes the burning time reaches a minimum;The rate of maximum explosion pressure rise of dope dust is larger and the rate of maximum explosion pressure decrease of dope dust is larger along with the rise of concentration;The rate of maximum explosion pressure rise of dope dust is larger along with the rise of original pressure; The rate of maximum explosion pressure decrease of dope dust is larger along with the rise of diameter of venting duct;The pressure-time curve in venting duct of aluminium dust is compared to the pressure-time curve in venting duct of dope duct.
