The rolling mill bearings are one of the important components of the metallurgical equipment. Not only the work environment of the rolling mill bearings is very tough, but also it must meet the challenge of over loading, high speed and heavy impact load. Therefore, it is significant for entire metallurgical production to ensure the normal work and service life of the mill bearing.The main study object of this paper is four-row tapered rolling bearings for rolling mill, specific study about load, temperature and other conditions, which is most affecting the bearing service life.Firstly, combined four-row tapered rolling bearings of the structural characteristics and contact theory, this paper completes the three-dimensional finite element simulation of the bearings, gets the load situation between every column bearings and the distribution of contact at a static load, it confirms that the partial load and stress concentration are the main factors of bearing damage.Secondly, based on four-row tapered roller bearing load distribution theory, it designs the two-roll mill roll experiment system, determines the specific measurement programs of the inter-column load, axial force and temperature under working conditions, completes the corresponding experimental task, gets the specific measured data in bearing working.Lastly, analyzing about the obtained experimental data, paper analyzes the bearing in a static load, dynamic load between the column bearings under the partial load conditions and the distribution of axial force, gets bearing load distribution in the conditions of cover preload force, the fulcrum position, rolling position, rolling force and rolling speed. According to experimental results and finite element simulation analysis, proposes the solution of bearing eccentric load behavior, lays the foundation for enhancing the bearing service life in the further.
