Domestic and foreign experts have paid more attention to the development of solid_liquid separation technology recently. Solid_liquid separation process is a basic process of separating a substance from another in industry. Filter technology is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgy, food, petrochemical, water treatment and other fields. Appropriate equipment and technology can reduce the energy consumption to improve efficiency and avoid environmental pollution.Screw press filter separates the water from the sludge by rotary screw. According to the different screw, filters can be divided into torque screw, variable diameter screw and variable inclined screw three types. Compared to the traditional filter like centrifuge filter, screw press filter has some good qualities, such as simple and compact structure, continuous operation, great squeezing force, low power consumption, good dehydration effect, low maintenance costs and so on.Fristly, referencing the last patent in aboard, screw press filter was compared with different structure. According to the different filtration material requirements, I need to choose the suitable structure and model, and described the reason. Our vision is to make the high economic efficiency.Secondly, the introduction focused on a new type screw press filter with stationary-floating rings. On the help of my teacher, the design scheme of screw press with stationary-floating rings is presented in this paper. I explained the principle and fuction of the improved components and structure. And I also introduced the double screw press with stationary-floating rings, which can be separated the liquid from solid more efficient.Finally, according to the stationary ring deformation of screw press with stationary-floating rings widely used at present, this paper used the ANSYS finite element analysis software to set up the stationary ring model and compared different thickness of the deformation on same pressure in order to improve the stiffness of the screw press and provide a reference.
