Study On The Correlation Between Serum Sodium, Uric Acid, BNP And Heart Failure

Objective: according to the analysis of heart function Blood sodium, BNP, uric acid(UA)in menwith chronic heart failure(CHF). It make sure of the relation between heart function and Bloodsodium, BNP, uric acid(UA). The aim of these serial studies was to evaluate the effect of Bloodsodium, BNP, uric acid (UA) in assessment, treatment and prognosis of patient with CHF.Methods: Total156hospitalized people with CHF in line with heart failure diagnostic criteriaof Framingham were chosen from March2006to March2007, aged from57to99years old, theaverage age was76.526.74years old. Among them the male patients was71case, female patientswas85case. These patients were that81hypertensive disease,56diabetes mellitus,16hyperlipemia.All patients were categorized by the New York Heart Association and detect the Blood sodium, BNP,UA of patients in each level.To measure BNP by fluorescence immunoassay detector by the bed, to measure UA byBeckman enzymatic automatic biochemical analyzer, to measure Blood sodium by fully automaticbiochemical analyser.Results:1. Blood sodium（mmol/l）II139.887.6，III128.736.83,IV123.945.418；UA(umol/l) II250.9491.17,III396.0281.27,IV701.5694.17；BNP(pg/ml) II190.95138.62，III541.02300.85,IV1710.63609.51，2.From those data，we can see: As the heart functionaggravating, the level of Blood sodium increase significantly (p <0.05), there is a negative correlationbetween Blood sodium and BNP (r=-0.84).3.As the heart function aggravating, the level of BNPincrease significantly (p <0.05);4. As the heart function aggravating, the level of BNP increasesignificantly (p <0.05), there is a positive correlation between BNP and uric acid(UA)(r=0.96);Conclusion: Heart failure patients with deterioration of cardiac function, Blood sodiumdecreased significantly, BNP and uric acid(UA) increased significantly, all the indexes weresignificantly elevated Blood sodium, BNP, uric acid(UA) in patients with chronic heart failure withthe indexes of cardiac systolic and diastolic function were relationship, prediction can be used as theindicator of the severity of deterioration of cardiac function, but also reflect the cardiac dysfunction.
