Study On The Relationship Between Serum Bilirubin,Blood Uric Acid And TCM Syndrome In Patients With Chronic Heart Failure

Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum bilirubin,uric acid and TCM Syndrome in patients with chronic heart failure.To provide new ideas for clinical treatment of chronic heart failure with traditional Chinese medicine.Research Methods:We collected 126 cases of CHF patients who met the inclusion criteria.The establishment of medical records collection table,including basic information,the incidence of disease information,related medical history,laboratory tests,clinical diagnosis.And we used the statistical methods to investigate the relationship which between serum bilirubin,uric acid and TCM Syndrome in CHF patients.Further clarify the relationship between serum bilirubin,blood uric acid and NYHA cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure.Results:l.There were no significant differences in age and sex between the 126 patients with chronic heart failure(P>0.05).The TCM syndromes of chronic heart failure were:heart-lung Qi deficiency,blood stasis and fluid-retention(26.2%),deficiency of both Qi and Yin,heart blood stasis(26.2%),Yang Qi deficiency,blood stasis and fluid-retention(26.2%),type of deficiency in kidney essence,Yin and Yang(19.0%).2.In the study of serum bilirubin and chronic heart failure TCM syndromes,we found that there was no significant difference between the type of heart-lung Qi deficiency and the type of Qi and Yin deficiency(P>0.05).The rest of the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Yang Qi deficiency was lower than kidney essence deficiency.They were higher than heart-lung Qi deficiency with deficiency of both Qi and Yin.3.In the study of blood uric acid and Chronic Heart Failure Syndromes,there were significant differences between the kidney essence deficiency and the other groups(P<0.05).The type of deficiency in kidney essence,Yin and Yang was higher than the other types.Thought there was no significant difference in the other syndromes.4.In the study of serum bilirubin,blood uric acid and NYHA cardiac function,The relationship between total bilirubin,direct bilirubin,blood uric acid and NYHA cardiac function grade was that cardiac function grade ? was lower than grade ?Mand IV(P<0.05).The relationship between indirect bilirubin and cardiac function was that cardiac function grade ? was lower than grade ?(P<0.05).In the correlation study,there was a positive correlation between total bilirubin,direct bilirubin,indirect bilirubin and NYHA cardiac function,and there was no correlation between blood uric acid and NYHA cardiac function.Conclusion:1.CHF Patients' total bilirubin,direct bilirubin,indirect bilirubin were gradually increased with the changing of TCM Syndrome.The syndrome of deficiency in kidney essence,Yin and Yang was higher than Yang Qi deficiency.And they were both higher than heart-lung Qi deficiency or the type of deficiency in Qi and Yin.There was a correlation between serum bilirubin and TCM syndromes.2.The relationship between blood uric acid and TCM syndromes in CHF patients was statistically significant.The syndrome of deficiency in kidney essence was higher than the other three syndromes.And there was no significant difference in the other syndromes.3.The relationship between total bilirubin,direct bilirubin,uric acid and NYHA heart function classification of CHF patients:heart function grade ?was lower than grade ?and ?.The relationship between indirect bilirubin and NYHA heart function was that grade ? lower than grade ?.There was a positive correlation between serum bilirubin and NYHA cardiac function grade,but there was no correlation between uric acid and cardiac function grade.4.There were positive correlations between TCM syndromes and cardiac function grade in CHF patients.Cardiac function grade ? was mainly to heart-lung Qi deficiency and the type of deficiency in Qi and Yin.Cardiac function grade ?and ? level mainly to Yang Qi deficiency and kidney essence deficiency.With the increase in cardiac function level,TCM syndromes gradually increased from heart-lung Qi deficiency to kidney essence loss.
