Objective To observe the effect of curvature traction for the treatment of young patients with cervical spondylosis,and compared with ordinary computer traction advantages of curvature seat traction.Evaluate the cervical curvature values and surface electromyographic RMS values before and after the treatment,try to use objective and quantitative evaluation index to evaluate the clinical curative effect of curvature traction.provides a safe and effective method for the treatment of young patients with cervical spondylosis.Methods 60 cases of young patients with cervical spondylosis were divided randomly into two groups : a trial group(30 cases) and a control group(30 cases).In experimental group, curvature traction was used. In control group, conventional pillow jaw set of traction was adopted. Five times a week over a period of four weeks.Observation VAS score,NDI score,cervical curvature values,surface electromyographic RMS values evaluated before treatment and after 4 weeks treatment).Results Before the treatment,there is no statistical difference in all the indexes in the two groups.After 4 weeks of treatment,the indexes of the two groups were improved compared with before treatment,but the experimental group improved obviously,significant differences were found between the two groups in the cervical curvature values,VAS score,NDI score and surface electromyographic RMS values.The measurement results of cervical curvature values:Before the treatment,there is no statistical difference in cervical curvature values in the two groups.After 4 weeks of treatment, the experimental group is improved significantly than before treatment(P<0.01),the control group is also improved than before treatment(P<0.01).But the experimental group improved obviously,difference has statistical significance(F=5.40, P <0.05).The results of surface electromyographic RMS values:After 4 weeks of treatment,the experimental group is improved significantly than before treatment(P<0.01),the control group is also improved than before treatment(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in cervical erector spinae and upper trapezius RMS values during head lateral flexion and backward extension(P<0.05).The VAS score results:Before the treatment,there is no statistical difference in VAS score in the two groups.After 4 weeks of treatment, the experimental group is improved significantly than before treatment(P<0.01),the control group is also improved than before treatment(P<0.01).But the experimental group improved obviously,difference has statistical significance(F=4.32, P<0.01).Neck disability index(NDI) score results: Before the treatment,there is no statistical difference in NDI score in the two groups.After 4 weeks of treatment, the experimental group is improved significantly than before treatment(P<0.01),the control group is also improved than before treatment(P<0.01).But the experimental group improved obviously,difference has statistical significance(F=1.19, P <0.01).Conclusion 1.According to the principle of biomechanics,the curvature of traction can reshape the physiological curvature of cervical vertebra patients,not only can reduce the clinical symptoms of patients, effectively improve the patients of cervical function,but also fundamentally eliminate the cause of cervical spondylosis of young people,finally achieve the purpose of preventing the recurrence of cervical spondylosis, is a feasible and safe clinical treatment method. 2. Cervical curvature values and surface electromyography as noninvasive and objective evaluation methods has a broad application prospect. |
