Hepatocirrhosis is a very common disease in clinic, and it seems in the tendency of increasing in recent years. There are a large amount of hepatocirrhosis patients in China. The age range of most patients is between 20 and 50,and male patients are more common than female patients. As hepatocirrhosis has a deferred course of disease, it influences the normal I ife and work of patients severely. On the other hand, it has no specific remedy, and the cost of treatment is very expensive. Because of the changing of patient's condition and therapy environment and the establishment of new relationship, a lot of comp I i cated psycho I og i ca I prob I ems will occur for them. The researches in recent years have found that the psychological factors run through the whole process of hepatocirrhosis. The process includes the damage and restoration, injury and compensation, and it acts on the disease outcome by two directions.lt influences the transformation of hepatoci rrhos is. Most researches in this field in China are the summary of thei r clinic experiences , and they are always short of quantitative indices. Most researches overseas are about alchol ic hepatoci rrhos is. The researches about psychological needs emphasized on beingrealized, being accepted, fitting for the new environment, needing abundant life, needing previledge of private matters, needing the feel ing of space.The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of psychological status and psychological needs and give the suggestions for nursing intervention according to the investigating results, providing scientific basis for hoslictic nursing.The general status questionnaire on hepatocirrhosis inpatient, cl inical manifestation questionnaire .symptom self-check list 90(SCL-90),and psychological needs questionnaire of hepatocirrhosis inpatient were used. 60 hepatocirrhosis inpatients were investigated, and compared with the healthy people. At the same time, they were grouped according to their age, sex, and educational level. Analyzing the relative factors. The frequency contribution, t-test, ANOVA, stepwise regress ion analysi s, cor re I at ion analysi s were used to analy the related factors of hepatocirrhosis inpatients.Some of the characteres of the patients' psychological status and psychological needs were found. Then give the nursing intervention. Results:1. The hepatoci rrhosi s inpatients are significant higher than that of healthy people on somatization, obsession, depression, anxiety, host i le, but in the items of sensitivity of people relationship, phobia,paranoid, psychotic, they are significant lower than that of healthy people.2. For the male patients, in the items of hostile they are significant higher than the female patients, but in the items of somatization, obsession, sensitivity of people relationship, depression, anxiety, phobia, paranoid, psychotic .there is no significant difference between male and female.3. There is no significant difference for the patients with different age and educational level in somatization, obsession, sensitivity of people relationship, depression, hostile, anxiety, phobia, paranoid, psychotic.4. There i s significant difference for the patients with different illness condition in the items of obsession, depression, psychotic. According to the CHILD class of I iver function, the items of patients with I iver function of class C is significant higher than that of the patients with liver function of class A and B. And there is no significant difference in the other items.5.There is significant negative correlation for the scale of SCL-90 and the condition of supporting system. It means the stronger the supporting system, the better the psychological status.6. By the analyzing of stepwise regression, the varities of CHILD class and the recogni zat ion degree of the disease got into theformula.7.
