IUD is the most widely used intrauterine device method for women of child bearing age. But it can cause side reactions such as hyper-menorrhea and menostaxis, etc. To study the mechanism of the therapy of supplementing Yin and removing blood, We made a Cu-IUD-wearing Rabbit given Ning huan pian which is based on supplementing Yin and removing blood stasis (SYRB) through several aspects including as prostacychine, thromborane A2, plaminogen activator and blood rheology. These were the results.1. SYRB decreased the contents of prostacycline (PGI2), and raised thromorance A2 and the ratio of PGI2 to TXA2.2. SYRB method decreased the contents of tissue plasminogenactivator (t-PA).3. SYRB decreased the activity of No and NOS.4.SYRB decreased the demsity of hematocnit, total blood viscosity (low, middle, high) and seram viscosity, and improved blood rheology.All mentioned above indicate that SYRB method can regulate the release of biochemical medium in the uterine tissues and improve blood rheology, So endometrorrhagia caused by IUD- wearing can be prevented and cured effectively.
