Object:Endometriosis(EMs) is a common disease among women of child-bearing age.There are 10-30 percent women bothered by EMs,and 46-60 percent of infertilitas women because of EMs.Although menstrual bleeding counter-current theory has been accepted,which can't take out proof directly.So the nosogenesis of EMs is hardly to illuminate.Obviously the invasion of EMs is related to many factors.We hypothesized that endometriosis might be referred to the level of pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) and osteoproterin(OPG) in the peritoneal fluid(PF).And then to discuss the pathogenesy of EMs in the domain of endocrin secretion-immune.Material and method:PF PAPP-A and OPG were measured in 25 women with endometriosis and 25 women with hysteromyoma ablation.Result:We found that the mean level of PAPP-A and OPG were all higher in PF from patients with endometriosis than controls(P<0.05). Furthermore,significant correlation was found between the stage of endometriosis and the level of PAPP-A and OPG in these patients(P<0.05). The concentration of PAPP-A in PF were significantly higher in the secretory phase than the proliferative phase of the menstrual cycle in both groups(P<0.05),and OPG in PF without obviously difference(P>0.05).Discussion:We conclude that PF level of PAPP-A are significantly increased in patients with endometriosis,and conspicuous correlation was found between the stage of endometriosis and the level of PAPP-A in these patients which corresponding to the extent of disease. The concentration of PAPP-A in PF are higher in the secretory phase of the menstrual cycle.Allof these prove that PAPP-A might be change internal environment of pelvis toinduce EMs and regulated by lutin.Experimental results of OPG level in PF are the same with PAPP-A except that the concentration of OPG in PF are't higher in the secretory phase of the menstrual cycle,which cue that OPG might be play important role through development of EMs without influence of ovarian cycle aspection.
