Clinical Study On Method Of Strengthening The Spleen And Kidney, Activating Blood Circulation And Eliminating Toxicant, In Treating Senile Diabetic Nephropathy In Early-stage

Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of strengthening the spleen andkidney, activating blood circulation and eliminating toxicant in treating early DiabeticNephropathy in old people. Methods: 100 patients with early Diabetic Nephropathy weredivided into two groups by random. Among these patients, test group(n=60)were treated bytang shenping which is based on strengthening the spleen and kidney, activating bloodcirculation and eliminating toxicant; Control group(n=40)were treated by lotensin, twomonths was a course of treatment, after 60 days, the experiment index (symptoms,bloodglucose,HbAlc,INS,IAI,IR,blood lipid,blood rheology,UAER,尿β₂-MG,TRF,NAG,ET,NO,TXB₂,6-K-PGF_1α,TNF-α,IL-1)were compared to those inbegning. Results: The clinical study showed that Tang Shenping had good therapeuticefficacy in early DN, it could effectively improve the clinical symptoms, descend theUAER,β₂-MG,TRF,NAG in urine, decrease ET,NO,TXB₂,6-K-PGF_1α,INS,IR,blood lipid,blood rheology,TNF-α,IL-1 markbly. There is significant differencebetween the test group and the control group. Conclusion: The method of strengthening thespleen and kidney, activating blood circulation and eliminating toxicant can protect therenal function of senile Diabetic Nephropathy in early-stage, and prevent itsdeterioration. So it is worthy of further research.
