Study On PLWHA Demand For Psychological Care Evaluation And Intervention In Rural Area

Objective Try to investigate the psychological demand of PLWHA in the country, design the model of psychological care training and implement psychological care to PLWHA, to provide reference for this work in the people of other similar area; Methods Sixty-eight PLWHA in the county accepted an investigation to evaluate psychological demands. Design the training model of psychological care training by the results of evaluation and suggestion of experts. There were thirteen paramedics attended the tentative training .After the training, thirty PLWHA who needed the psychological care accepted the psychological implement by the paramedics who past the psychological care training, and analyzed their psychological state before and after implement;Results (1)Of the sixty-six PLWHA, there were twenty-nine(43.94%) PLWHA have the tendency of anxiety ; twenty-nine (43.94%) PLWHA have the tendency of depression;There is superposition between these two populations. Thirty PLWHA need the psychological care; (2) 74.00% of the PLWHA who were investigated choose the paramedic as their psychological carer. (3)Construct the model of psychological care training in the county of centre China. (4) The students who accepted the tentative training mastered many psychological care knowledge and skill. The score before and after training were remarkable difference(t=-5.616,P<0.01);(5)After implement, social support of PLWHA are heightened(t=4.525,P<0.01),and the tendency of anxiety and depression has changed(t=-3.419,P<0.01;t=-4.263,P<0.01);Conclusions Through the training of the psychological care, paramedics could master the fundamental knowledge and skill of the psychological care, which are good for improving the life quality of the PLWHA in rural area.
