Survey Of The Awareness,the Treatment And The Control Rate Of Hypertension In ≥50 Years Uygurs And Hans Nationalities

Objective To investigate the awareness,treatment and control rate of hypertension in the aged≥50 years People in Xinjiang and the differences of the nationality .Methods Adopt a multi-stage stratified random cluster sampling approaches, randomized collect residents in Uygur and Han aged≥50 years were used. A total of 7214 survey,Uygur was4142,Han was 3072. Results The awareness,the treatment and the control rate of hypertension in≥50 years Uygurs and Hans was 59.74% , 31.58% , 14.11% ( standardized rate 54.68%,30.32%,15.03%),respectively. In≥50 years Uygurs was 54.55%,30.74%,14.69% ( standardized rate 54.68%,30.32%,15.03%),respectively. In Hans was 66.40%,33.00%,13.37% ( standardized rate65.43%,31.55%,12.84%),respectively. The rate of awareness was higher in Hans than in Uygurs. The awareness,the treatment and the control rate of hypertension in female was 63.74%,34.81%,14.49% respectively; in male was 54.66%,27.60%,13.65% respectively. The rate of awareness and treatment were higher in female than in male. The rate of treatment was lower in the population with the lower educational level,living country,smoking,drinkingal cohol,overweight and fatty. Conclusion The awareness, treatment and control rate of hypertension were very low in≥50 years Uygurs and Hans People in Xinjiang. This implied that effective Public measures needed to be developed to enhance the awareness,the treatment and control rate of hypertension in≥50 years Uygurs and Hans People in Xinjiang.
