Urumqi Community Elderly Residents Six Years Of Hypertension Awareness,Treatment Rate And Control Rate Of Investigation And Comparative Analysis

Objective: To evaluate the awareness rate,treatment rate,control rate and change trend of hypertension in the community over 60 years old,and to analyze the changes and influencing factors by comparing the baseline survey data of two elderly people over 60 years old in two communities in Urumqi.Methods: in 2008 and 2014,the health status of the permanent residents aged 60 and over in two communities of the Xinjiang Agricultural University and the Urumqi steel community were investigated.The unified questionnaire was used to investigate the prevalence of hypertension,the treatment and the measurement of blood pressure.The subjects who met the survey were screened for analysis.Descriptive statistics were used in general data,and chi square test was used to count data.The difference was statistically significant between P < 0.05.Results: in 2008,the awareness rate,treatment rate and control rate of hypertension were 60,61.1%,11.6% and 7.2% respectively in two communities in Urumqi.In 2014,the awareness rate,treatment rate and control rate of hypertension were 60,48.3%,7.7% and 6.4% respectively in two communities in Urumqi.The awareness rate and treatment rate of two years were compared with P value < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: to improve the health care knowledge of community residents,and to further strengthen the propaganda and education of hypertension knowledge,promote comprehensive treatment and the system management of the community,so as to make early diagnosis,early treatment and early control.Urumqi community needs to adopt comprehensive prevention and control measures to improve the awareness rate,treatment rate and control rate of hypertension.
