Clinical Study On Evaluations Of Brachial Artery Endothelial Function, Carotid Intima-Midia Thickness And Ankle-Brachial Index

Objective:To evaluate the correlation of brachial-artery endothelia dependent dilation(EDD),Carotid Intima-midia Thickness (IMTc) and Ankle-Brachial Index(ABI).Methods:42 middle-elder healthy people,36 coronary heart desease patients with angina pectoris(AP) and 40 patients with myocardial infar- ction(MI) were employed for mesuring the baseline inner diameters of the humeral artery diameters after reactive hyperemere and IMTc,using high resolusion ultrasound and measuring ABI of three groups by blood press- ometer.All the patients underwent hemostetic factors evaluation,ECG,history collection,ultrsound and coronary angiography et al.Results:EDD% in AP group is higher than that in MI group and lower than that in normal control(P<0.05),IMTc in AP group is thinner than that in MI group and thicker than that in normal control (P<0.05) ,the ratio of ABI<0.9 in AP group is higher than that in MI group,and lower than that in healthy volenteers(P<0.05).Conclusions:Coronary heart disease is correlated with EDD,IMTc and ABI.
