The Clinical Observation Of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer By Treated With Kangai Baojin Decoction Combined With Protocol Gemcitabine And Cisplatin (GP)

Objective The study was to prove that Kangai Baojin Decoction had such role in Relieving chemotherapeutic toxic and side effects and symptom as well as improving quality of life in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer patients through clinical efficiency investigation,providing new thought for clinical diagnosis of Chinese Medicine combined with Western medicine of lung cancer.Method The total of 40 in-patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer were collected,randomly divided into two groups,i.e.treatment group and control group with 20 patients respectively.The patients in treatment group were treated with Kangai Baojin Decoction and chemotherapy,while only treated with chemotherapy in control group.Period of treatment was from the first day of chemotherapy to the end-of the second cycles.Clinical efficacy was analyzed between treatment group and control group by statistics method through such aspects as CM syndrome effect, quality of life(QOL) score,Karnofsky score,tumor marker and tumor size.Result Quality of life score was averagely added 1.85 score in treatment group after treatment, while averagely decline 0.40 score in control group.Quality of life in the two groups had significant statistics difference(P＜0.01).Quality of life(QOL) score in treatment group were higher than that in control group.The improvement of Karnofsky score accounted for 55%in treatment group after treatment,the stability for 45%,the declination for 0%;while for 25%, 65%,10%respectively in control group,with significant difference in the two groups(P＜0.05). Karnofsky score in Treatment group were higher than that in control group.In CM syndrome efficiency,Clinical significant efficiency was 25%,efficacy was 55%,inefficiency was 20%in treatment group after treatment;while 5%,50%,45%respectively in control group,with significant difference in the two groups(P＜0.05).The efficiency in treatment group was better than that in control group.The two group had similarity in toxic and side effects,but the treatment group had milder toxic and side effects than control group in leukocyte with significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment group was superior to control group in CM syndrome efficiency, quality of life(QOL) score,Karnofsky score with significant difference between two groups by statistic analysis.Kangai Baojin Decoction had proved to be the role of reliving toxicity and adding efficiency.Treatment group had the trend of improvement and stability in substantial tumor efficiency but no significant difference.The reason maybe was less samples and short treatment time.The two group had similarity in toxic and side effects,but the treatment group had milder toxic and side effects than control group in leukocyte with significant difference. Through clinical efficacy investigation and analysis,the study had proved that Kangai Baojin Decoction had such role in relieving chemotherapeutic toxic and side effects and symptom as well as improving quality of life in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer patients,providing new thought for relieving toxicity and adding efficiency in chemotherapy of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
