| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Wentong Huoxue Formula on treating Primary Dysmenorrhea (PD)of congealing cold and blood stasis, and to explore its mechanism of action, and provide scientific basis for the clinical application of it. Methods:60 cases of Primary Dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases,treated with Wentong Huoxue Formula),and control group(30 cases,treated with Shaofuzhuyu Capsule). Both groups started at 4 days during the menstrual period and lasted 7 days,a course contained 3 menstrual cycles. Before and after treatment, the acesodyne effect, the clinical effect, and the change of the uterine blood circulation,the blood rheology, the PGF2αin the menstrual blood serum estradiol (E2)and progesterone (P) in the blood would be compared. Results:The treatment group and control group have the clinical total efficiency separately 96.7%,76.6%, the difference of the two groups is significant (P<0.05). On the acesodyne effect,the effective rates of the two group are 93.3%,66.7%, the difference has statistical significance (P<0.01). After treatment, the indexes of blood rheology of two groups of patients were significantly decreased(P<0.01); inter-group comparison, the treatment group in the reduction of low shear whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity aspects of gifted in the control group (P<0.01). PI,RI,PGF2α,E2 were obviously deceased (P<0.01);but the P level was obviously increased (P<0.01),the differences of the two groups are all significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). During the course of the experiment found no obvious adverse reactions. Conclusion:WentongHuoxue Formula can treat PD of congealing cold and blood stasis through its good acesodyne effect and regulating the body as a whole.The mechanism may be relevant to reducing blood ropyextent.accelerating blood circle;improving microcirculation of pelvis cavity;regulating ovarian hormone level. |
