Creative imagery is a psychological processes in which people create new images independently according to certain purpose and task rather than the ready-made description . Creative imagery is the main form of the creativity of children, so studying it will help us to know how the children's creativities develop . The researches in this field were started over 100 years ago. Finke studied the creative imagery of adults, and put forward the conception of creative cognition. His geneplore model of creative imagery help us to know the inner processes of creative imagery better. However, the studies on children's creative imagery , especially on the education of creative imagery , are still deficient. For the above-mentioned reasons, this research studied how the inspiration affect on the creative imagery of the pupils in grade three and five, According to the characters of Chinese pupils, we modified the methods of Finke's and used them. We adopted 2 X 2 X 3 design in this research. These three independent variables were grade (grade 3 and grade 5), gender (male and female ),methods of inspiration (none , implicit and explicit). We got the following findings in this experimental condition:1. For the subjects in group A, who were inspired implicitly, there is a significant difference between grade 3 and grade 5. For the subjects in group A and C, there is no significant difference between grade 3 and 5.2. There is no significant sexual difference between the boys and girls. However, different methods of inspiration do different effects on boys and girls. The implicit inspirations promote the creativities of boys. And the explicit inspirations promote the creativities of girls.3. Inspirations can promote the creativities of the imagery of students both in grade 3 and grade 5, but different method do different effects on the different grade. For the students in grade 5, both implicit and explicit inspirations can promote the creativities of their imagery. For the students in grade 3, only explicit inspirations can promote their scores.
