Glossary research on Chinese dialect remits the tradition of etymological note of etymology words. However, the etymological note of etymology words is a complicated linguistic problem which is not only involved in the investigation of archaic liter atureand analysis of variety of pronunciation and acceptation, but also concerned with distinguish of linguistic environment sort of crowds whose use this etymology words and so on. This paper aims at this case, to mainly look for dialect glossary up to now still used in Yongzhou oral dialect from the archaic records, tidy up out 144 dialect phrases after carrying on vast analysis and contrast, make up for the shortage of research on Yongzhou dialectic glossary. Meanwhile, these dialects phrases are to carry on the comparison with standard Chinese from four aspects, stating their usages them in Yongzhou oral dialects. As far as it can be concluded from comparison, the closeness and Similarity of vocabulary meaning between the ancient phraseology in Yongzhou dialects and words in standard Chinese occupy 59.72%,thus it is more reasonable to state that Yongzhou dialect belongs to the southwest mandarin from the component view of glossary.
