On the basis of plentiful information that come from the author's practical fieldwork, this thesis describes in detail the syntax of Local Dialect in Dajing Miluo, Hunan by the static descriptive and the comparative methods. The study will match the previous studies to form a complete system and provide original features for the profound investigation and study in the further.The thesis includes the following 7 parts:Part 1 is the preface, which briefly introduces the background, the main purpose and the meanings of this paper, the methods of the research, the source of Language materials, the correlative studies of the local dialect, the humanity geographical situation of location, and the phonetic system of the local dialect. The legend mainly introduces various symbols of this thesis.Part 2 to Part 4 are the main part of this thesis. This thesis describes in detail the syntax of local dialect from the sentential function-type, structure-type and significance-type. Under necessary situation, it compares with Putonghua or another dialects in order to emphasize the characteristics of the syntax of local dialect.Part 5 has depicted and discussed several special sentence of local dialect.Part 6 is the language material notes. This part records example sentences on grammar and three stories of the local dialect.Part 7 is the conclusion.
